Our HR team reviews your application with the relevant team to assess experience and fit.

We aim to respond within one week of the submitted application date.
For some roles, we may ask you to complete an online assessment before the interviews. This step helps us ensure a fair and objective evaluation for some of our technical roles.
- Intro Call — A short conversation with HR to get to know each other and answer initial questions.
- Role Interview — A deeper discussion with the team about your experience, skills, and ways of working.
- Final Interview — A conversation with the direct manager and one of our co-founders focused on alignment, expectations, and long-term collaboration.
We may request references after the first interview stage to gain additional perspective before making a final decision.
Once all steps are complete, the interview team meets and HR will update you by email, typically within 7 days.
If selected, you will receive a contract offer outlining terms and conditions. Our HR team is happy to answer any questions.
Once signed, we will prepare for your onboarding and welcome you to Ling — either at our Chiang Mai office or remotely.

From application to offer, the process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the role and scheduling availability. We aim to keep candidates informed at each stage, though timelines may vary. Make sure all required documents are complete. Some positions may require an introduction video—always follow instructions carefully. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30–18:00 GMT+7. Remote team members can work flexibly in their local time zones, in agreement with their manager and HR. For Chiang Mai–based team members, we follow a hybrid model: office collaboration typically occurs Tuesday to Thursday, with flexibility based on team and role needs.

Team members in Thailand receive group Health, Life, and Accident insurance through AIA Thailand. Team members outside Thailand are eligible for annual insurance reimbursement. All eligible team members also receive an annual health check-up allowance to support preventive care.

While we collaborate primarily in English, Ling is a truly multilingual team! Our team members speak 20+ languages, and we encourage diversity in language skills. You don’t need to be fluent in every language, but a strong command of English is important for clear communication and collaboration across teams. If you speak additional languages, that's definitely a plus, but it’s not a requirement!
