Can You Understand Urdu If You Speak Hindi?

For instance, we write “How are you in Urdu” as آپ کیسے ہیں؟ and in Hindi as आप कैसे हैं? and they are both read as aap kese hain?

Yet, these two languages also have differences, like they use different writing scripts, have distinct cultural idioms or proverbs, and also contain different formal vocabulary of their own.

Is The Quran Written In Urdu Or Arabic?

The Quran is written in Arabic but is translated into many languages, including Urdu. In fact, the Quran was revealed in the Arabic language to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) over 1400 years ago.

The translations of Quranic verses in different languages are to assist non-Arab speakers in understanding the Quran.

These translations only provide a close understanding of the Quran, and the original Arabic text is considered sacred.
